Empowering Inclusion Through Digital Access – Launched May 2025

We’re proud to share that a brand-new website for the National Disability Forum Solomon Islands (NDF-SI) was officially launched in May 2025, with the goal of making their important work more accessible, visible, and connected.

This project was made possible through the support of Australia Volunteers International (AVI), who partnered with us at Island Tech Solomons to bring this vision to life.

🤝 A Collaboration for Impact

From the very start, our team worked closely with AVI and the NDF-SI leadership to ensure the website reflected the Forum’s mission — promoting the rights, voices, and inclusion of persons with disabilities across the Solomon Islands.

We focused on delivering a site that is:

✅ Easy to navigate for all users
✅ Accessible on mobile and desktop devices
✅ Built with clean design and local relevance
✅ Informative, featuring news, advocacy efforts, and resources
✅ Ready to grow, with features that can be expanded in future (e.g. contact forms, newsletter signups, etc.)

Most importantly, we ensured the website was delivered on time and fully operational for its planned May launch.

• We ensured that accessibility and simplicity guided every design choice.

• We provided local training and support to help NDF-SI maintain and update their content.

• And we continue to offer IT support whenever needed, because sustainability matters just as much as delivery.
